How MasterBuilds compares

Every comparison here is written the same way: dated pricing, a link to the rival’s own pricing page, and a plain statement of what they do better than we do. Here is how to read them, the two things that actually set MasterBuilds apart, and who should pick something else.

Comparing field service software honestly

Comparison pages usually exist to make one product look good. These try to do something narrower and more useful: help you decide. Three rules hold on every one.

Every pricing claim is dated, because prices change and a stale number is worse than none. Every rival’s pricing links to their own page, so you can check the current figure yourself instead of taking ours on faith. And every comparison names at least one thing the other tool does better — a write-up that only flatters the seller is an ad, not a comparison. MasterBuilds is pre-launch, and pretending otherwise would fail the first honest test.

The two things that set MasterBuilds apart

Most of what field service tools do, they all do — intake, scheduling, a board, invoicing. Two differences are durable enough to compare on.

The first is price. MasterBuilds is a flat $99 a month for the whole workspace, with unlimited crew and no per-seat or add-on fees — adding a technician never moves the bill. That is the whole idea behind flat-rate field service software, and you can see exactly what the plan includes on the pricing page.

The second is shape. Most tools assume one business per account. MasterBuilds holds every business you own in one workspace — each with its own color, its own board, and its own separate books, all from a single login. That is field service software for multiple businesses, and no single-business rival is built for it.

Where we’re not the fit

Honesty is the point of this page, so here is the other side of it. If you need deep enterprise reporting and analytics, a large ecosystem of integrations, or dispatch built for a single large shop running twenty or more technicians, MasterBuilds is not the right tool today — and the comparisons above say so, page by page.

Those operations are what the bigger platforms are built for, and we would rather point you to one than oversell a pre-launch product. MasterBuilds is for the small operator — especially one running more than one business — who wants a flat price and a single workspace that holds all of it.
