1. Overview

This policy explains what MasterBuilds collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. MasterBuilds is a field-service operations tool; we collect the minimum needed to run it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

2. Information we collect

• Account details — the email address you sign up with, and basic profile and workspace settings.
• Workspace and job data — the content you and your crew enter: businesses, jobs, statuses, notes, time entries, and invoice details.
• Media uploads — photos and short videos captured or attached to jobs.
• Technical data — limited log and device information (such as IP address and browser type) needed to keep the service secure and working.
• Payment data — handled by Paddle, our payment processor. We do not see or store full card numbers.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the service and your workspace;
• process your subscription and send service and transactional emails;
• respond to support requests and communicate about your account;
• diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not use your workspace or job data to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Processors we rely on

We use a small set of trusted providers to run MasterBuilds. Each processes data only to provide their part of the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for your workspace data.
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, bot protection, and R2 object storage for media uploads.
• Resend — delivery of transactional and waitlist email.
• Paddle — payment processing as our reseller and Merchant of Record.

5. What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not run third-party advertising networks, ad-tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising. We do not share your job or media content with anyone except the processors listed above, or when required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Security

Your data is isolated per workspace and protected by database-level access controls, encrypted connections, and encryption at rest through our providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export your workspace data or request deletion at any time by contacting us. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' safeguards for lawful international transfers.

10. Children's privacy

MasterBuilds is a business tool and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age required to consent in their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and our providers evolve. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
