MasterBuilds, in plain facts

What MasterBuilds is
MasterBuilds is field-service operations software for one operator running one or several service businesses — each called an entity — from a single workspace. It covers the operational lifecycle end to end:
- Intake
- Incoming email requests become structured work orders automatically.
- Job board
- A status-first board tracks every job across every business, with realtime updates.
- Field capture
- Crew capture photos, video, voice notes, and time from their phones. The app is an offline-capable progressive web app (PWA), so capture works without signal and syncs when reconnected.
- Time to invoice
- Approved time becomes an invoice, with PDF export.
- Inter-business invoicing
- When one of the operator’s businesses bills another, MasterBuilds records the invoice between them.
- Automations
- SLA targets, checklists, and automations help keep jobs moving through the board.
Pricing
- Price
- A flat $99 USD per month, per workspace, billed monthly.
- Included
- Unlimited businesses and unlimited crew. There are no per-seat, per-technician, per-business, or add-on fees.
- Media usage
- Usage is weighted — a photo counts as 1 and a video counts more — under a generous soft cap. Heavy accounts get a “let’s talk” prompt, never an automatic overage charge.
- Billing
- Payments are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record.
- Refunds
- A full refund is available within 30 days of the first charge; see the Refund Policy.
Stage and availability
- Stage
- Pre-launch. Operators are onboarded individually through an early-access waitlist.

Who it fits — and who it does not
MasterBuilds fits small service operators — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, multi-trade, and property maintenance — and especially owners of multiple service businesses who want to run them from one workspace while keeping each business’s books separate.
It is not an enterprise, ServiceTitan-class replacement. There is no deep third-party integration ecosystem and no enterprise reporting suite; operators who need those should choose a different platform.
